Umbrella groups look for public sector feedback on best practice proposals
Two umbrella organisations are looking for feedback from those working in the public sector in regards to the initial draft of publications setting out standards of best practice in procurement skills.
In news which may interest those with network partners in the public sector, Acevo and the Development Trust Association are collaborating on proposals which will also cover best practice during negotiation and VAT issues when working in partnership, reports the Third Sector.
Now the two umbrella groups are to hold a series of seminars from across the country to get feedback from leaders working within the third sector.
Orli Gorenski, who is managing the project, told the publication: "We need a wide range of voices and experiences to inform the final draft of these publications.
"Then we will have a true reflection of best practice within the sector."
Earlier this year, Acevo representative Stephen Bubb claimed that the growing role of the third sector in public service delivery is "both inevitable and desirable".
