CapacityBuilders reveals funding change
The CapacityBuilders organisation has announced changes to its funding system and structure, it has emerged.
Under the terms of its restructuring plans, CapacityBuilders is to establish nine National Support Service work-streams that it hopes will provide charitable groups with a worthwhile resource.

Yorkshire public sector ‘receives funding boost’
Those working for the public sector in Yorkshire could be set to benefit from a new funding initiative, it has emerged.
Along with Yorkshire Forward and other network partners, Richmondshire district council is to unlock some £1.5 million in finance for local communities.

Charities ’should review benefit packages’
Incorporating flexitime for those working for charities and voluntary groups could be beneficial, a new study suggests.
Research carried out by Hays Accountancy & Finance and the Charity Finance Directors’ Group (CFDG) reveals that some 73 per cent of finance directors who work for charities make use of the flexible hours initiative offered by their employer, ThirdSector.co.uk reports.

Charity bosses ‘confident in 2008′
Charity bosses around the UK are confident in their ability to cope with a worsening economic climate this year, according to a recent study.
A poll of more than 200 chief executives working for charity and voluntary groups has found that close to three-quarters feel the British economy is heading for difficulties, but most feel that their own organisation will be able to avoid serious troubles.
