Seminar programme launched for third sector
A new seminar programme has been launched targeting those working for third sector organisations, it has been revealed.
Launched by the European Fundraising Association (EFA), the Windows on Europe initiative will see representatives of charities from across the continent give advice on fundraising.
Demonstrating best practice techniques for raising funds, the initiative will also incorporate an email information service.
Among those speaking at the programme is British-based charity Be the Change.
For those charities looking to boost the skills framework of their staff in order to improve their fundraising activities such news may be of interest.
Dr Marita Haibach, president of EFA, said: "European fundraisers are fast becoming world leaders in their profession."
"The programme is an opportunity to raise the standards of fundraising ever higher, mobilising resources to meet the needs of our beneficiaries," it was also reported.
Earlier this year, the Community Foundation for Merseyside’s Boost Initiative was launched, which is aimed at helping charities free up cash from grant-making trusts which are not performing efficiently.
