Challenge : How can the public sector compete more effectively with the private sector for talented people? One approach is to exploit the public sector’s unique strength – our willingness to collaborate. It would be almost unthinkable for competing private sector companies to collaborate on recruitment activities, but this is exactly what a number of public sector agencies are now doing – using their combined resources and a coherent regional E-recruitment strategy to attract a wider pool of talent. JobsDoncaster.co.uk launched
Finding your ideal job in South Yorkshire will soon be a whole lot easier thanks to JobsDoncaster.co.uk, an innovative web based jobs portal created for Doncaster Council by on-line recruitment experts, Jobsgopublic (JGP).
The portal was launched today by the Mayor of Doncaster, Martin Winter, who said: “Doncaster is thriving. It has seen huge investment which means more jobs, and more challenges in recruiting. This website will make it easier for us to recruit people to the jobs we have available and will also make it easier for the people looking for jobs”. (more…)
